The New York Post (NYP).
When VM=1, the protected-mode bit goes low and the Entry PLA selects real-mode entry points -- MOV ES, reg takes the one-line path. Meanwhile, CPL is hardwired to 3 whenever VM=1, so the V86 task always runs at the lowest privilege level, under full paging protection. The OS can use paging to virtualize the 8086's 1 MB address space, even simulating A20 address line wraparound by mapping pages to the same physical frames.
I hadn't paid for advertising. I hadn't done any special promotion. The AI simply decided my content was the best answer to that question and served it to the user. This wasn't luck or a fluke. When I tested the same query in Perplexity, the same thing happened. My website ranked at the top of AI-generated responses, pulling in free traffic directly from AI models that millions of people now use as their primary search tool.。搜狗输入法2026对此有专业解读

Git packfiles use delta compression, storing only the diff when a 10MB file changes by one line, while the objects table stores each version in full. A file modified 100 times takes about 1GB in Postgres versus maybe 50MB in a packfile. Postgres does TOAST and compress large values, but that’s compressing individual objects in isolation, not delta-compressing across versions the way packfiles do, so the storage overhead is real. A delta-compression layer that periodically repacks objects within Postgres, or offloads large blobs to S3 the way LFS does, is a natural next step. For most repositories it still won’t matter since the median repo is small and disk is cheap, and GitHub’s Spokes system made a similar trade-off years ago, storing three full uncompressed copies of every repository across data centres because redundancy and operational simplicity beat storage efficiency even at hundreds of exabytes.
